Hello, I'm Owen, a dedicated educator with a solid foundation in science education. My journey includes earning a PGCE in Science from the UK and attaining a Masters from Cambridge University. With a passion for teaching, I've conducted over 50 private tuition sessions, honing my skills alongside acquiring Qualified Teacher Status and accumulating three years of full-time teaching experience.

My expertise extends to various levels and curricula, from KS3 Science to iGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP), garnered through teaching stints at esteemed independent boarding schools in the UK. As a Biology teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, having engaged in academic research and clinical laboratory work. My teaching approach emphasises fostering independent research and enrichment programs, ensuring students receive holistic support beyond the classroom.

In addition to my teaching roles, I've contributed to various educational institutions, including Wellington College and Hurstpier College in the UK. My academic journey includes serving as a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, where I furthered my expertise in biology. Moreover, my experience as an IELTS Examination Invigilator and roles in biomedical science at Manchester University and the University of Cambridge have enriched my understanding of diverse educational environments and learning needs.
