Tutoring Experience

For over 8 years, I've been providing tutoring services, logging more than 1,500 hours in lessons, primarily centered on IB Mathematics. I've tutored students from various backgrounds and learning capabilities, witnessing the positive impact of individual attention on their academic performance.


My students have consistently shown remarkable improvements in their grades, with several scoring 7s in their HL Mathematics exams. I've also had the opportunity to work in group tutoring environments at local schools, providing comprehensive support to students preparing for their IB exams.


My experience extends beyond Denmark, as I've also tutored online for students worldwide. My greatest reward is seeing a student grow in confidence and understanding, as they conquer what was once a difficult subject.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is rooted in building a strong foundation in the core concepts of Mathematics. This involves starting from the basics and progressively delving deeper, ensuring the student has a full understanding at each level.


To achieve this, I break down the subject matter into digestible parts and use real-life examples to bring the material to life. I believe in active learning, encouraging my students to solve problems and apply concepts during our sessions. This not only reinforces what they've learned but also builds problem-solving skills.


As we approach exam periods, I focus on exam techniques, time management and strategies to tackle different question types. I make use of past papers to familiarize students with the exam format and expectations.


Throughout, I maintain open communication, providing regular feedback on their progress and areas for improvement. My ultimate aim is not just to improve grades, but to build a true appreciation for Mathematics in my students.
