Tutoring Experience
My 12-year tutoring journey encompasses a spectrum of cultures, empowering students in Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK. Starting as a Biology and Physics private tutor in Hong Kong, I then expanded my expertise to the Tokyo teaching community, equipping students with the skills to excel in IB examinations. My recent 4 years have been devoted to online tutoring, reaching out to students globally, particularly in the UK. Through this journey, I have maintained a results-driven approach, ensuring each student is prepared and confident to excel in their exams.
Tutoring Approach
I use a results-driven approach to education, emphasizing understanding of concepts and their application to exam-style questions. Each student learns differently, so my lessons are tailored to match individual learning styles, whether that's through diagrams, discussions, or problem-solving sessions. I stress the importance of practice and repetition, and routinely integrate past exam questions into my teaching. My aim is to ensure that every student not only understands the subject but can also articulate their understanding confidently in an exam setting.
